Ok here goes! This is my current mani and I love love love it!

I started with Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as my base coat,

I used Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Eel Skin as my base color then added China Glaze Crackle Glaze in  Gleam me up over the grey. I used Seche Vite as my top coat.

I love the color combination, which is a tad surprising since I let the boy pick it out! The only complaint i had with it was that the crackle top coat really shrunk the grey and made it crackle-y too, but I still really like the effect!

Here are a few of my most recent mani's that I wanted to share. They are pretty simple, so I will not include instructions but if you have any questions, just ask!

Sinful colors - Frenzy
NYC- East Village

WNW Megalast - I need a refresh-mint
Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors - Follow me on glitter

Sinful Colors - Boom Boom
Sinful Colors  - Rise and Shine
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure - Eel Skin
WNW- Black Creme

Essie - Aruba Blue

China Glaze - With Love
China Glaze - Angel Wings

These are in chronological order, so you can see my skills progressing, however, I am far from an expert. I am learning and have a blast so that is what is important to me.

Also, Please excuse my "Nubbins" I work in retail and I know that I am breaking the cardinal rule of all things polish, but I have to admit, my nails ARE tools! Sorry.

Mini Nail Haul

So I got the Boy to go to Sally's with me yesterday and come across the clearance holy grail!

I came across an Orly- Mysterious Curse for $1.98!! China Glaze crackle glaze- Jade-d and Gleam me up, A So Easy Stripe Rite in a super pretty teal (I bought 2, one for a giveaway), Fingerpaints- Tough Art to Follow (again I bought 2, one for a giveaway) and a Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor- Kendall on the Katwalk. I spend about 12 bucks for the lot and I am super excited this is my first Orly and I have heard so many good things about them! Reviews to come later :)

Introductions

So this is my first post, so be gentle, please!

My name is Cherish and I am new to the wonderful world of nail polish. I was never a huge fan of nail polish growing up and am completely enthralled in it now. I wanted to start a blog because I wanted to document my successes and failures and maybe help any other newcomers in the process.

A little about me... I am 24 and currently work in retail as a department manager. I am in school, working on my degree in business administration. My end goal would be to own my own bakery ! I love baking, cooking, playing with my two dogs and being outdoors the list goes on and on.

I've been toying with the idea of making my own polish, so you might see me popping up with all of the other indie makers out there.

Well I think that covers it for now, if you have any questions or comments, just let me know!
